The Summer is at its glorious best!

The photo above reminds me of the last few days. I may not be alone tho. I for one will benefit from a mind reset and the Island does not disappoint!

In recent years, a veritable Lavender District has developed on the Island! This weekend we celebrate with a three day  Lavender Festival at Fragrant Isle  - food, instructional sessions, activities for all ages. At Historic Island Dairy , one can view a graphic arts gallery and a shop of  lavender products. The first lavender farm established on the Island, Glenella on Michigan Road, sports the English variety.
